What Should I expect?

The last thing any bride or groom should worry about is capturing all the special moments from their wedding day. When you book Black Hills Photography for your wedding, you’re working with a professional, experienced, relaxed, and fun loving photographer who will capture all the great moments from your wedding!

What happens before we get to our wedding day?

In the weeks and months leading up to your wedding day, we like to meet a few times to ensure that we have a solid plan to capture everything you want! Our team likes to be involved in setting the schedule for your wedding day, just to make sure that everything will go smoothly, and to confirm there will be time for some relaxation and partying throughout!

Two weeks ahead of your wedding, we will schedule one final meeting to confirm the schedule, a shoot list of required photos, and times and locations!

Once you book us for your wedding day, your engagement photoshoot is complementary, so we will get to spend some time together, getting to know you as a couple as well :)

What does our wedding day look like?

Your wedding day should be all about YOU! The last thing we want you to worry about is the photography! Our photographer(s) will be prompt, friendly, easy to work with, and helpful! We will work with your guests and other vendors to keep the day rolling on schedule, and make sure that you and your wedding party and family are relaxed!

Wedding days rarely go 100% as planned, but we use our experience to make sure things stay on track and as stress-free as possible :)

What happens after the wedding?

We will do our absolute best to get a teaser album with a few images to you within the 48 hours following your wedding! We don’t want to keep all of those fans on social media waiting to see your gorgeous day!

In the weeks following your wedding, you’ll receive a digital album with all your wedding pictures ready for download! We are happy to offer complementary retouching (skin smoothing, teeth whitening, etc) on 25 images of your choosing! If there are others you’d like retouched, simply reach out and we can work something out!

You own all the print rights to your images so you are welcome to get them printed anywhere you’d like! Of course, we do have a few favorite print houses to work with, so if you need any recommendations, just ask!

We have three packages to choose from to fit your budget. We are always open to discussing other options as well! Feel free to shoot us any questions! A 20% non-refundable deposit is due in order to reserve your wedding date.
